There are several alternative options for a PEO. These include an administrative services organization (ASO), human resources outsourcing (HRO), payroll providers, or HCM software providers. Corban OneSource is an HRO.

We specialize in midsized companies that have between 75 to 6,000 employees. Our solution does not support businesses smaller than 75 employees, but we would be happy to review your business to determine what are the next best steps. We are able to assist growing businesses that have over 50 employees but not quite 75 yet. If you have more than 6,000 employees, reach out and we can figure out if we are the right fit for you!

As a Managed Services Provider (MSP), we offer additional management of your HCM software and other routine HR tasks. Within your HR technology, we manage functions such as payroll, benefits, and the HR module. This helps you stay in compliance, mitigates risk, and clears the way for you to focus on strategy and building your HR department.

With human resources outsourcing (HRO), you get more independence and control over your HR department than what you would receive with a PEO. You get to choose your benefits broker and build your own health plans. In most cases you get much more control over which HCM software you want to use. There is no co-employment model, meaning you pay your employees under your business’s FEIN. 

Every business situation is different. In general, a PEO model becomes difficult to scale, and the costs become bloated as your business grows from an SMB to a midsized organization. An HRO provides cost transparency, because they can not inflate third party fees.
